1905年，在诗巫邻近上南村麻河桥畔，中正幼稚园园址原地点的胶林，在一住家内开设布道处。首任传道为黄荫南。
1910年，布道处改在前南村三一堂胶园内，并且建立教堂。
1917年光南学校创立，教会与学校在一起。光南学校1946年改名为中正学校。
1999年建成新教堂。
