逸恩堂1949年代成立。
当年，黄启英主持沂亭学校校政，目睹人口虽多，却没有教堂，引为憾事，遂与当地几位信徒商量，向诗巫教会请求，月助20元，半津贴学校，半津贴黄启英，借沂亭学校礼堂做为主日崇拜的场所。
1951年，林向德牧师被派到加拿逸，见到当时尚无教堂，而展开筹建的工作。
